On December 17, 2025, the School of Food Science and Technology at Guangdong Ocean University was filled with warmth and inspiration as the Handyware Scholarship Award Ceremony was successfully held.

Mr. Jason Lin, Vice President of Sales of Handyware Group, attended the ceremony in person, delivering heartfelt encouragement and best wishes to the students. On behalf of the Group, he expressed sincere appreciation to the dedicated faculty members and extended warm congratulations to every student who continues to pursue academic excellence with perseverance despite challenges.

In his speech, Mr. Lin remarked, “Education shapes the future of a nation, and universities are the cradle of talent. By establishing this scholarship, we hope to support diligent and motivated students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, enabling them to focus on their studies and pursue their dreams with greater confidence.”

During the ceremony, the scholarship recipients expressed their gratitude with determination and optimism shining in their eyes. Their resilience and drive to strive forward deeply moved everyone present.

Mr. Lin also shared three expectations with the students: to cherish their time at university and build solid professional expertise; to remain grateful and give back to society in the future; and to stay steadfast in their beliefs while facing challenges with courage. His words were sincere, thoughtful, and inspiring.
